Cochin

Cochin or Kochi is popularly known as the queen of Arabian Sea. It was the trading center of spices for a long time as it is one of the finest natural harbors of the world.
The magnificent natural habitat rich with lush greenery has a lot to offer to tourists of different tastes. It is one of the principal tourist destinations of Kerala with its serene backwaters, Fort Kochi with beautiful beaches and famous Chinese fishing nets, the striking city of Ernakulam with its picturesque sites, Marine Drive a perfect local hang-out and Willingdon the man-made Island.
Kochi is also well known for its ancient monuments, serene beaches, old churches and temples, Dutch Palace made by Portuguese and Hill station Museum, the largest archaeological museum in Kerala State.
