The Himalayas have fascinated the entire world for a while. Their attitude, climate, landscapes, flora, and fauna are unique. Different people find different meanings of this place. To some it’s the most romantic place, to some it’s very awe-inspiring and to some, it’s highly spiritual. In the “Amorous Himalayas we will explore the romantic aspect of the Himalayas. This starts to form the Heart of India, New Delhi and takes you on a romantic journey through the valleys between the highest peaks in the world. Shimla and Manali are some of the most renowned romantic destinations of India. They say “The warmth of LOVE can be felt BEST in the CHILLS of HIMALAYAS”.

Day 1:

In transit to Delhi
Welcome to the capital of India and the largest city of India. The city’s importance lies not just in its past glory as the seat of empires and magnificent monuments, but also in the rich and diverse cultures. Check-in at the hotel on arrival. Evening at your leisure.

Day 2:

Delhi
After breakfast, we’ll set out exploring the landmark sites of the Rajpath. Start with the citadel of Lutyens’ Delhi, the Rashtrapati Bhavan. It is now the official residence of the First Citizen of India – the President. We’ll stop at the Cathedral Church of the Redemption, located in the quiet Church Lane near Rashtrapati Bhavan. After that visit the National Museum – the largest museum in India, followed by India Gate and then Jantar Mantar. Hangout in the evening at the commercial hub – Connaught Place. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3:

Delhi
This day we will explore the Old Delhi. After breakfast, we will go to visit the famous Red Fort, followed by the visit to Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk. In the evening we’ll visit the Rajghat, the memorial for Mahatma Gandhi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4:

In Transit to Shimla
Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh state, was the summer capital of former British India. Situated at an altitude of 2,200 m (7,200 ft) above sea-level, the town is distinctive for its variety of architecture. It has one of the rare surviving urban forests, made all the more unique, for its species are temperate to alpine ones in what is otherwise a tropical zone. Check-in at the hotel on arrival.

Day 5:

Shimla
After the breakfast, take the trek up to Jakhoo Temple. Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the ancient temple is a must visit. It’s also the highest point in Shimla. After that, we will visit the Ridge and the famous old Church by the Ridge. In evening we will hang out at Shimla’s famous Mall which offers one of the longest stretches of pedestrian shopping in the world. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6:

Shimla 
After breakfast, we’ll head to Kufri for some sporting fun. Located at a distance of about 18 km (11 mi) from Shimla, Kufri is thronged by tourists for adventure activities like hiking, skiing, horse riding and zorbing amongst others. While heading back to Shimla, take a detour and head to Chadwick Falls, a famous tourist spot in Shimla worth a visit. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7:

In Transit to Manali
A beautiful driving experience through the Himalayas and then you arrive Manali. Manali at an altitude of 2,050 m (6,726 ft) in the Beas River Valley is a hill station nestled in the mountains of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of the Kullu Valley. Check-in at the hotel on arrival. Evening at your leisure.

Day 8:

Manali
After breakfast proceeds to city tour visiting Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Temple and Tibetan Monastery. Hangout at the Mall Road in evening. Overnight stay at Manali hotel.

Day 9:

Manali
Full day excursion visiting Kothi, Gulaba Fall, Marhi, Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley. Overnight stay at Manali hotel.

Day 10:

Manali
After early breakfast, full day excursion visiting Manikaran (Hot water springs). We’ll see lots of beautiful locations en route viz. Kullu, Shamshi (a famous industry for Kullu shawls, we suggest purchase Bhuttico Shawls as a suvenior) and Kasol. Reach back Manali by evening. Overnight stay at Manali hotel.

Day 11:

In transit to Delhi
Day-long journey to New Delhi. We’ll check-in at a hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 12:

Delhi
Return flight from Delhi.
